Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress, who is also a TV hostess as well as a comedian. Her kidneys did not recover following the onset of an infection that was septic and she had numerous organ malfunctions. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. Over the course of the 80 days she spent in the Hospital, the life of her changed for the better. Angelica, after a year of dialysis and a half, was now ready for the most significant operation of all: an organ replacement. The donor kidney would come from only her mother. Angelica Hale had a successful kidney transplantation along with her mother on the 13th of September, 2013. The procedure was conducted at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her dream of becoming a star ever since.
